Hello

My name is Anne Bartos, and I am a 22-year-old music educator. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Music Education and a minor in Developmental Psychology. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I now live in Dayton and teach orchestra in Middletown City Schools. As a cellist, I teach all orchestral string instruments as well as piano. In addition to teaching and performing, I enjoy arranging music, and I am passionate about helping young musicians develop their skills, confidence, and love of music.

My Story

Growing up in Cleveland, I was surrounded by a wide variety of music. My mother, a piano teacher, encouraged me to pick a string instrument so that I could join The Lakewood Project when I reached high school. That choice sparked a lifelong love of music and inspired me to share that passion with others. Through The Lakewood Project, I discovered my love for arranging and have since completed 80 pieces for a variety of ensembles, many of which I’ve also had the joy of performing. During high school, I was a four-year member of both The Lakewood Orchestra Program and The Lakewood Project, as well as a nine-year member of The Singing Angels. Each of these experiences shaped me into the musician and educator I am today.
